Each month, underclassmen are recognized for their active participation in the school community, their academic efforts, and their kindness and respect toward others. These students are named Rookies of the Month. The Rookie of the Month program is sponsored by Hank Niebrugge Country Financial.

THS Cheerleaders attended a four day Ultimate Xperience Cheer camp for the first time, this week at Effingham High School competing in Game Day, baskets, stunts, pyramids and dance. They received a Third Place Overall title out of 15 schools in all size divisions. Emma Bloemer also was named Best Tumbler of the camp. Nominations for Best Tumbler included Tinley Schwerdt, Allison Runde and Carly Witges. Nominations for Best Dancer included Emma Bloemer, Tinley Schwerdt, Emily Meyer and Ashlyn Pals. Nominations for Best Jumper included Allison Runde and Brooke Thoele. Congratulations to our girls! 💙💛
