Welcome to the Teutopolis Unit 50 transportation department. We are grateful for the opportunity to safely transport your children to and from school. We recognize the importance of ensuring that every student is able to attend school every day.

SMARTtag Parent App

Our district utilizes the SMARTtag routing and notification system to ensure that students and buses arrive safely and on time. This system also includes a parent access to see your student's routes, as well as receive alerts when your student gets on and off the bus, and when their bus gets within 10 minutes of your stop.

Please use the following directions to sign up and link your students to your account:

1. Download the app by going to this link and selecting the option for your phone

2. Choose “Create an account” using the same email address as your Teacherease Parent Portal.

3. Verify your account by entering the 6 digit code emailed to you and create a password

4. After login, select “Find students”. You will need the following information:

• Student number (You can find this in the TeacherEase parent portal)

• Birthdate

• Name of the student’s school (Teutopolis Grade School, Teutopolis High School, Teutopolis

  Junior High School)

Please email transportation@ttown.k12.il.us if you are having trouble creating an account or finding your students.

The SMARTtag system relies on your student swiping their ID badge when they get on and off the bus. It is important that students have their badge when riding the bus to avoid any delays with loading and unloading. Please ensure that your student has their badge every day.
