First graders in Mrs. Mellendorf's class celebrated Dot Day last Friday. They focused on a story called "The Dot" and completed several activities with circles and dots. Some activities included graphing and tasting Dot candies as well as drawing and creating a picture that began as a single small dot.
Second graders send a big THANK YOU to the Ryan and Hollie Jansen family for replanting and maintaining the butterfly garden over the summer. Our monarchs loved the flowers!

In volleyball action, the Wooden Shoes take on the Flaming Hearts tonight. Effingham won the JV match 27-25 and 27-25. Varsity coming up.
