Every year, the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) surveys a representative sample of parents of students with disabilities to determine how well schools throughout the state are involving parents in their children’s education. This year, parents of students with special education needs in Teutopolis school district may receive a survey. Parents may complete the paper survey and return it by mail or complete it online at www.mievaluation.com/isbe2020.htm. Please consider taking the time to complete this survey. Thank you! To: All THS Seniors and Senior Parents From: Deb Philpot, Interim Supt. Subject: Virtual Graduation and Traditional Graduation Good evening! Mrs. Mapes sent an email through Teacher Ease to all seniors and senior parents this evening. Please look for this email as it contains guidance regarding the upcoming virtual graduation ceremony and what we need from seniors and senior parents. The email also provides information regarding virtual senior honors night and what is needed from each senior. Staff are working hard to put together a virtual graduation ceremony that will be very memorable for our seniors. I do want to remind everyone that it is the district’s intent to host a traditional ceremony at a later date. That date has not been established yet, but seniors and parents will be notified when it is. Please let us know if you have further questions once you read Mrs. Mapes’ email. THANK YOU!
