American Education Week!

American Education Week presents us with an opportunity to celebrate education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. The weeklong celebration features a special observance each day of the week.
They include:
Monday - Wear Red for Ed (education)!
- Students wear red.
Tuesday - Super Hero Day!!!
- Students dress in their favorite superhero attire. We are all special in our own way.
Work-out Wednesday - Working out our Brains and our Bodies!
- Students wear your workout clothing, and keep stretching your brain to help it grow!
Team Spirit Thursday - Show your school pride!
- Students wear your blue and gold.
Friday: No School!

Kindergarten students had fun voting on Election Day!
After reading the story "Duck for President" the students could vote if they wanted Farmer Brown or Duck to be President!


Mrs. Siemer’s third graders had a special visitor today. Emma’s brother, Private Andrew Isley, shared with the class about the responsibilities of being a Marine. Thank you to Andrew and all Veterans for serving our great country.

6th Grader Madi Deters from Mrs. Chesnut's class read "Biscuit Finds a Friend" to Mrs. Jansen's Kindergarten Class. Madi asked the children questions about her story and then rewarded them with Scooby Doo graham cracker dog biscuits. The children LOVED it! Thanks Madi and Mrs. Chesnut!!
